Halva hot cocoa

Makes 2 cups

  • 1 tablespoon tahini
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • 2 cups milk (I used the cashew milk recipe from my book BE GOOD TO YOUR GUT but you could use any milk you like)
  • 2 x dates
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom
  • Pinch sea salt


Put all the ingredients into a blender and process on high speed until you get a smooth liquid.

Transfer into a small saucepan and gently heat for around 3-4 minutes. Pour into individual cups and enjoy!
